AMNO was created by Dearica Hamby and her daughter, Amaya, from conversations about confidence, identity, and growing up. They wanted beauty to feel playful, personal, and free from pressure.

Our name is a reminder that girls can admire others without losing themselves. Confidence starts with knowing who you are while giving yourself room to learn and grow.

a note from us
AMNO was inspired by Amaya. As a mom raising a young girl who loves beauty and hair, I noticed that so much of beauty is about looking better.
We wanted to create something that helps girls feel better, too. Something that could live in the little moments we already share — doing her hair, getting ready for the day, talking in the mirror — and quietly remind her to love the girl looking back.
And then I realized I didn't only want that for my daughter. I wanted it for every girl growing into herself. So we created AMNO together.
From our family to yours, we hope AMNO becomes more than something on your bathroom counter. We hope it becomes part of the moments she remembers — and a reminder she carries with her long after the bottle is empty:
